Ilan Sadeh’s Pop-Up exhibition presents a selection of paintings created mostly during 2024. Opening from a dialogue with The Diary of Anne Frank, adapted for the stage by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, the exhibition reflects on the fragile boundary between everyday life and historical catastrophe. Ordinary, almost banal images become charged with new meanings when viewed through the emotional landscape of an ongoing war. Without illustrating current events directly, the works invite viewers to consider how memory, vulnerability and humor continue to shape our perception of the present.
