In the exhibition The Wind in Your Hair, Moran Fisher presents paintings and drawings on canvas and paper, using oil, watercolor, acrylic, and colored ink. The works on canvas depict vegetation in motion—stems, flowers, and branching forms—resembling their reflection from the window of her home. The works on paper, by contrast, document simple and intimate moments in family life.
Most of the works were created over the past two years, during a time of war, and speak of a persistent inner choice to hold on to and paint images imbued with softness, love, beauty, and a spirit of renewal.
